The Chinese Football Association announced the men’s national team’s fifth training camp of 2026 on November 7. China will gather in Zhaoqing, Guangdong, from November 9 to 18 and play international friendlies as part of preparations for the 2027 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia.
Shao Jiayi leads the 26-player squad
Head coach Shao Jiayi has selected 26 players. Xu Bin is listed with England’s Wolverhampton Wanderers, alongside players including Wang Yudong, Zhang Yuning and Yan Junling. Chengdu Rongcheng contribute five players and Shanghai Port four. The complete list below follows the association’s club groupings.
Separate reporting deadlines for staff and players
Coaches and support staff must report by 18:00 on November 8. Players must report in Zhaoqing by 16:00 on November 9. Both deadlines are Beijing time, UTC+8, and are separate reporting requirements.
Clubs are asked to ensure players attend on time and assist with their physical, mental and personal preparation. Any inability to attend requires approval through the stated procedure. The CFA will cover accommodation, transport and insurance costs during the camp and matches.
The notice establishes the dates, location, personnel and reporting arrangements. It does not list friendly opponents, individual match dates or kick-off times. Those details await official publication by the CFA.
