Team Profile

An American racing organisation enters MotoGP

The team is part of the American Trackhouse racing organisation led by Justin Marks, a brand that also competes in NASCAR. It entered MotoGP as an independent team in 2024, partnering with Aprilia to use the RS-GP prototype. The 2026 season is Trackhouse’s third in the premier class, with its American background bringing a distinct identity to the paddock.

Raúl Fernández delivered Trackhouse’s first MotoGP Grand Prix victory in Australia in 2025. For a relatively new entrant, this was an important milestone: the team had begun turning the work of building its organisation, learning the bike and developing its trackside operations into front-running performance.

The RS-GP26 and different partner liveries

Both race riders use the Aprilia RS-GP26 in 2026, placing them in the same manufacturer camp as the Aprilia factory team. Aprilia leads development of the bike, while Trackhouse runs its own racing operation. The results of the four Aprilia riders offer several points of comparison, but the factory team and Trackhouse score separately in the teams’ championship.

The team added SuperFile as a title partner in 2026, while continuing to use a Gulf livery at selected rounds. The same Trackhouse team can therefore appear in different colours at different races. Numbers 25 and 79 are more consistent identifiers than colour: the livery changes reflect partner arrangements, while the bike manufacturer remains Aprilia.

The 2026 line-up and race team

The race riders are number 25 Raúl Fernández and number 79 Ai Ogura. Fernández continues his time with the team with a premier-class victory already to his name. Ogura moved up to MotoGP as the 2024 Moto2 world champion and begins his second premier-class season in 2026.

Davide Brivio helped develop the racing operation as the team was established. In its official 2026 presentation, the team identified improved grid positions as a priority, aiming to convert both riders’ existing race pace into stronger final results. Keeping the same pairing also allows riders and engineers to continue developing their working relationships.

What to watch

The relationship between qualifying and race performance is the main point to follow: if both riders start further forward, can they avoid spending too much effort early on and make full use of their race pace? For race analysis, comparisons with the Aprilia factory team help assess the platform as a whole. Ogura’s consistency from his second year and Fernández’s ability to reproduce winning pace at different circuits provide separate storylines within the pairing.
