Portland announced on October 17 that it had waived forward Jeremy Sochan. The official statement confirmed the change without giving reasons or his next destination.
Sochan played four preseason games for Portland. The October 17 announcement listed seventeen players after the move, including three on two-way contracts. Seventeen is the overall roster count in that statement, not seventeen standard contracts.
