The 2026 Reyes Cup ended at Makati Coliseum in Metro Manila on October 18. Rest of the World won both fourth-day matches to beat Asia 11–4 overall for its first title, ending Asia's two consecutive championships. Francisco Sánchez Ruiz was named MVP.
Two wins needed from 9–4
Rest of the World entered the final day leading 9–4. A 5–3 win in team Match 14 made it 10–4; doubles Match 15 then settled the cup at 11–4. Individual rack scores and the cup's cumulative match score are distinct levels.
Asia led 2–1 in the team match. Gorst forced a Manas foul through a 5-ball safety to level, then Dương Quốc Hoàng missed a long 6-ball and Pecelj finished the rack for a 3–2 World lead.
Sánchez Ruiz won another rack before Asia used ball in hand to close again. Filler finished with a 7–9 combination for a 5–3 team win, leaving one more match for the title.
Doubles pair loses the first, then wins five straight
Sánchez Ruiz and Shane Van Boening faced Robbie Capito and Dương Quốc Hoàng. Asia won the opener and had a chance to extend after Van Boening scratched on a jump in rack two, but Dương missed the 6-ball and the World pair leveled.
Van Boening forced Capito to foul with a 2-ball safety to take the lead, then used a failed opposing safety to win rack four with a 4–9 combination. A break-and-run took the pair to the hill at 4–1.
In the last rack, Sánchez Ruiz fluked the 2-ball before he and Van Boening completed the run, with Sánchez Ruiz potting the title-winning 9. Five straight racks after losing the first sealed a 5–1 doubles win.

The captain says the final margin conceals each rack's difficulty
Captain Ralf Souquet praised the whole team's performance from the first rack to the last 9-ball. He said 11–4 looked wide but many racks had been close. Sánchez Ruiz credited all players and the captain's preparation, stressing that MVP was not his achievement alone.
WNT next stages the Philippine Open at Gateway Mall, Quezon City, from October 20–24. The team title is decided and players return to individual competition.
